ALWAYS WANTED TO VOLUNTEER??

Passionate about Nature, National parks, Renewables and the Climate.

Queensland Conservation Council wants you!!

Queensland Conservation Council (QCC) are working to protect, conserve, and sustain our spectacular natural environments. We work with the community, our members and supporters - bringing Queenslanders together to build powerful movement nature and climate justice.

QCC has big plans for 2021 with running two campaigns, National Parks for life and Power Up QLD. These campaigns involve pushing the Queensland government to double the area of protected land from 8% to 17% and push the state government to develop a plan to replace coal fired power stations with renewables.

To do this we need Volunteers!

QCC depends on volunteers to be able to make the difference we need. At QCC there are a variety of ways to volunteer depending on your interests, skills and time; these include working groups, campaign outreach and QCC support volunteer roles. The best part about volunteering with Queensland conservation council is getting the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference.

Join us on the 27th of January at the Burrow, West End.

This event will provide you with insight into the campaigns, what it is to be a volunteer and more information on QCC. Food will be provided.

Will you come?
