Sunny Coast (Yaroomba) - Community for Creatures Event

As part of a week of action to pressure the federal government to introduce strong nature laws, QCC volunteers and the sunshine coast community are getting together for a fun community event. Come along to get involved to help get the community thinking about the creatures around us and what we can do to help them today and tomorrow. The primary aim of the event will include getting creative and painting a banner featuring some of Australia's incredible wildlife, the banner will then be delivered to our local Federal MP (Ted O’Brien - Fairfax).

Activities:
Planned Activities Include the following:
- Banner Painting (paint & brushes provided)
- Turtle Talk (Leigh - Coolum & Northshore Coast Care)
- Nature Walk (Jarrod - QCC Volunteer and Local Environmental Scientist)

What to bring:
It’s recommended that you bring a hat and water bottle.
Some chairs will be provided but may best best to bring your own just in case if you require
one.
