Come along to our webinar (for member groups and QCC volunteers) to hear from QCC staff and executive about QCC's journey to develop and implement a reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). Through Reconciliation Australia we now have an endorsed RAP, using their framework to develop tangible steps towards building First Nation relationships, respect, and opportunities. Find out what steps we are taking and find out what might be possible for you and your group.

Our vision for reconciliation is that the history, knowledge and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is fully valued and respected in Australia and within our collective work to protect Country.

In our work to protect this Country, Queensland Conservation Council will work towards a future in which our organisation as well as the broader environmental conservation movement in Queensland;
• Celebrates and acknowledges First Nations culture + knowledge.
• Stands in solidarity and supports self determination of Australia’s First Peoples.
• Centres First Nations voices, particularly when our project/s are central to Country.
• Embraces connection between First Nations and environment groups.
• Acknowledges the colonial history of conservation and the significantly longer history First Nations have on this land.

Will you come?
