Raise Your Voice in Clayfield for Climate

To secure a safe climate future for Queensland, and protect our communities and nature, we need all sides of politics to have strong climate action and renewable energy plans. There has been a really concerning shift from the Queensland LNP - they are not committing to maintain our hard won renewable energy targets. 

The community support for concrete climate and renewable energy plans is obvious, and yet key decision makers, including local influential LNP MP Tim Nicholls, have been ignoring our meeting requests. To demonstrate that climate change is an important issue to his constituents, we’re teaming up with Lock the Gate to host a friendly action outside his office on September 19th. Can you join us for an hour or so to help raise the message? You'll hear from a local why this matters to them, and from QCC and Lock the Gate what action on climate is vital for safeguarding our communities and precious nature. We'll also go take some fun photos next to the billboard we have up,  calling for action.
