Help us at our Wildlife Show at Redcliffe Markets

Do you have an hour or two to help out at our Wildlife Show at Redcliffe Markets in Redcliffe?

Helping out at a QCC event is a fun way to get involved in protecting our climate and nature + you'll get to have real wildlife encounters!

This is a chance to get up and close with some rare and special wildlife like a tawny frog mouth, reptiles, and we might even get an appearance from 'Bumpy' the Wombat and a squirrel glider. We will have fun games, wildlife meet and greet, free giveaways, and hopfeully Georgie our giant greater glider puppet  will make an appearance too. We may even have a human sized koala on deck! Join other like-minded volunteers at our show to talk to passers-by and invite them to the show, and talk about your concerns and why strong nature laws to protect our beautiful Queensland are important to you. If you are new to this kind of thing, no worries - we will show you the ropes and there will be staff and/or other experienced volunteers on the show at all times. It's fun!

If you can't help out on the day, do come say 'hi' and have a chat to our friendly QCC staff and volunteers about nature issues that concern you, and meet the wildlife that'll be there on the day. There's plenty of stalls to roam around - it's a chance to enjoy the great market atmosphere with a wild twist.
