🌱🐨 Come and join us at the Ipswich Eco Fest! 🐨🌱
The Ipswich Eco Fest will be hosted by our friends at the Ipswich Climate Action Group (ICAG). QCC will be joining a number of other environment groups, including Urban Reptiles, Sweltering Cities and Renewable Energy for a morning of information, presentations and entertainment, such as the 'Solar Wedding of the Year' and ICAG's 'Trashion Parade'. Coffee and refreshments will be available.
We would love for you to come and help us spread the word at our stall about the Protect Beautiful Queensland (PBQ) campaign! Sharpen up your conversation skills, whilst joining other nature lovers to build awareness and support for doubling the amount of protected areas in Queensland by 2030 for us all to enjoy and explore, and for our beautiful native species, like koalas, greater gliders and glossy black-cockatoos to thrive in!
If you are new to this kind of thing, no worries! We will show you the ropes and there will be staff and/or other experienced volunteers there at all times. It's easy and fun! We'll also be handing out some cool freebies, like stickers, tote bags and even t-shirts as a reward for those who engage with our campaign.
To RSVP, simply select the most convenient shift(s). Get in touch with Matt (contact details above) to find out more.
