🏃♀️🏃🏃♂️ Come and join us at a stall at The Guzzler Trail Ultra! 🏃♀️🏃🏃♂️
The 'Guzzler' is the biggest event on the calendar for our friends at Those Guys Events, with an expected 2,500 participants and spectators! Guzzler adventurers will be running through Mount Coot-tha Forest Reserve and parts of D'Aguilar National Park. We need to get their support for more protected areas to enjoy exploring, so we can build this movement and grow a broad coalition of nature protectors.
If you can spare an hour, we would love for you to come and help us spread the word about the Protect Beautiful Queensland (PBQ) campaign at our stall there! Join other nature lovers to build awareness and support for doubling the amount of protected areas in Queensland by 2030 for us all to enjoy, and for our beautiful native species, like koalas, greater gliders and glossy black-cockatoos to thrive in!
If you are new to this kind of thing, no worries! We will show you the ropes and there will be staff and/or other experienced volunteers there at all times. It's easy and fun! We'll also be handing out some cool freebies as a reward for those who engage with our campaign.
