Protected Areas Campaign - Volunteer Planning Session

Get involved and help form tactics for QCC's protected areas campaign for 2023!

This year we have seen some great progress for national parks in QLD, including acquisition of 'The lakes', 362,000 hectares handed back to First nations in Cape York and $300 million invested in protected areas. Despite that we still have a long way to go for Qld reached 17% protected. 

Join us for a briefing and planning session to explore ideas for next year for how we can further build active support for bigger and better protected areas.  

This is open for all QCC volunteers, whether you have been involved in the campaign for a few years or just getting started. This will be a face-to-face event, and would work best with everyone in the same room, however, if you would like to join in but you can't join face to face we can make zoom available.
