iNaturalist Workshop - with Mooloolah River Landcare

Join us and Mooloolah River Landcare to learn to use iNaturalist and become a Citizen Scientist!

At this iNaturalist workshop you will learn how to become a Citizen Scientist by recording your nature observations using simple technology. iNaturalist is not only a great tool for identification but your observations are important! Every photo you log helps monitor and record information about our local flora and fauna. Become a Citizen Scientist to connect with nature, join a global network and help highlight why it is so important to protect Qld's unique plants and animals.

iNaturalist is an easy, free and addictive smart technology accessible with your smartphone or laptop. No experience needed - just a love of nature and a smart phone (iNaturalist can also be accessed through an internet browser).

Download the iNaturalist App onto your smartphone before the event. Also, please have 2 photos on your phone of an animal or plant that you can use to practice with in the workshop.  Presented by Leesa Beutel from Mooloolah River Landcare's Biocontrol Facility.

Join QCC afterwards to use your skills at the Ferny Forest Bioblitz.
