On behalf of Queensland Community Alliance and Queensland Conservation Council, we’d like to invite you to Our Renewable Future: a Gladstone Region community conversation on March 27.
Gladstone is at the forefront of the renewable energy transition, but with so many moving pieces, it can be hard to know what is happening. We want to bring our community together to discuss the energy transition, renewable energy and what positive outcomes which strengthen our community look like.
We will invite experts and leaders in our community to present what is happening, and share facts and stories of their experiences. The evening will consist of presentations and small group discussions, and a variety of ways for you to take action. This is an opportunity for education and conversation and everyone is welcome.
We will have food available so registration is essential. Please contact us via the details below if you have particular dietary or accessibility requirements.
Please contact Emma Smith on 0400 174 086 or Elise Ganley on 0447 189 314 if you have any questions.
We acknowledge that this event will take place on the land of the First Nations Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, Taribelang Bunda Peoples and acknowledge their Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
