Gladstone can have a bright economic future producing green metals and fuels the world is increasingly demanding – but how do we unlock these opportunities and make sure that any new development benefits the community and local environment?

Join us for a catered community forum where we'll discuss Gladstone's green industry opportunities, the barriers we need to overcome to see these opportunities come to fruition, and how we can ensure the best outcomes from development. At the event you'll hear from expert speakers, but also have a chance to have your say.

This community conversation event is being hosted by the Queensland Conservation Council and Greenhouse. We have invited experts  to present what is happening, and share facts and stories of their experiences. The evening will consist of presentations and small group discussions, and ways for you to take action. This is an opportunity for education and conversation and everyone is welcome.

We will have food available so registration is essential. Please contact us via the details below if you have particular dietary or accessibility requirements.

We acknowledge that this event will take place on the land of the First Nations Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng, Taribelang Bunda Peoples and acknowledge their Elders past and present. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
