We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to protect 50,000 hectares of vitally important forests! These forests stretch from Noosa to the NSW border. Last year the state government confirmed that these native forests will no longer be logged!

But what happens next? The state government also announced that some of these forests will be transferred to protected areas, great news, but so far there has so far been no further announcements.

These are places of deep cultural significance, they are places we ride, hike, camp and spend time with family and friends. They're also home to extraordinary wildlife, including the greater glider, glossy black-cockatoo and spotted-tailed quoll.
