Ellie Morrison/Media Manager

Ellie Morrison is a communications and media strategy leader with a background in journalism and advocacy across media, finance and the environment. She is Media Manager at the Queensland Conservation Council, where she leads media and external communications to advance climate and nature protection in Queensland.

Ellie also brings experience from her work with Women's Environmental Leadership Australia (WELA), supporting women leaders to build influence and visibility across the environmental movement.

Raised on a cattle property in Central Queensland, Ellie brings a lived connection to the land and regional communities to her work protecting Queensland's natural environment and those who depend on it, now and into the future.

Previously, she worked as a journalist and editor at outlets including Canstar and News.com.au.
