Darryl Ebenezer / Board Member

Darryl is an experienced not-for-profit leader with a strong focus on governance, accountability and sector sustainability.

As CEO of Queensland Water and Land Carers Inc, he provides governance and insurance support to more than 520 Landcare, Coastcare, Wildlife, Conservation and environmental volunteer groups statewide, strengthening compliance, risk management, strategy and board/committee performance.

Darryl has inspired reforms that improve organisational resilience, volunteer safety and transparent decision-making. He works closely with government, NRM organisations and peak environmental organisations to ensure community voices are well-represented and trusted.

With broad knowledge of the Queensland environmental landscape and extensive board experience, Darryl is committed to supporting QCC's strategic leadership and good governance for a thriving Queensland environment.
