Join local community members and leaders to act for the common good in Aspley and surrounding Northside areas.  

The Northside Aspley Assembly will be a key people power event for the northside leading up to the 2024 State Election.  

This Local Assembly is organised by Queensland Community Alliance (QCA) and its members including Queensland Conservation Council. It will bring faith groups, unions, community organisations, ethnic associations and local leaders together. The Assembly will be informed by a local listening session held that focused on local issues as well as by our shared Maroonprint 2024: Our Community Driven Agenda for Queensland. This is a non-partisan action, as are all activities of QCA.

We will share stories, highlight the key local issues that have emerged from the community listening session, propose solutions and negotiate outcomes with our local MP and candidates on these pressing issues. 

We will focus on:

• Housing and Homelessness
• Cost of Living
• Social isolation and loneliness

We will ask candidates to commit to the solutions we have developed across our Alliance, and to commit to working with us on further solutions.
