Trevor Meldrum / Chair

Trevor is an Aboriginal with Australian heritage, born in Cooktown, Cape York Peninsula, with ties to Princess Charlotte Bay, Lakefield and the Palmer River.

For the last thirty-two years Trevor has lived and worked in environmental and natural resource management roles and contributed to the Indigenous Advancement Strategy.

Trevor holds an International Agriculture Diploma and a Certificate in Animal Husbandry. Other qualifications include Conservation and Land Management Training and Assessment. He has also undertaken numerous courses including Environmental Project Management and aerial and on ground environmental scientific surveys to name a few.
