Ormiston College is clearing over 650 trees within designated koala habitat and koala priority area, to make way for new playing fields, a swimming pool, and boarding facilities.
If this deforestation continues, it will further fragment an important wildlife corridor and destroy habitat relied on by endangered koalas.
Please take 2 minutes to email the Federal Environment Minister, Murray Watt, and urge him to use his powers under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act to call in this project for federal environmental assessment.
