Week of Action Leading up to #ShowYourStripes Day
#ShowYourStripes Day is a global moment we're participating in to start conversations about climate change and raise awareness of the causes and solutions. The Climate Stripes are a powerful visual that uses a colour scale to show the average yearly temperature increases over time between 1850-2024. We had a great time getting together last year to view the stripes being lit up on Story Bridget and raising awareness, and we're doing it again but this time we want to make it bigger with your support!
Help spread the word about the global #ShowYourStripes day that we're taking part of.

Climate change is already hurting Queensland communities. We've dealt with unprecedented fires, floods and coral bleaching – all as a result of polluting fossil fuels and large-scale destruction of our precious ecosystems. This is the critical decade to take action and prevent the worst impacts of global heating – for humanity and the ecosystems that support us. We need to stand together and actively demonstrate broad and diverse support for climate action to our decision makers that protecting beautiful QLD and our future is a priority for us and they must act now.
Don't forget to join us on the #ShowYourStripes Day on Sun 22nd June to view the stripes, it'll be fun - RSVP here.
