Partnerships Manager

In this role, you will manage, develop and grow the partnerships QCC holds with key funders, grant-makers and major donors.

Key responsibilities and duties

• Grant development and stewardship – Coordinate the development of compelling grant proposals, applications and pitch documents, and the communication of funding requests, in partnership with the Director
• Grant reportings - Oversee grant-funded project reporting, update grant outcomes and financial reports
• Work closely with the Director to develop new funder relationships
• Work with campaign leads to ensure alignment of grants with campaign priorities
• Lead on annual report, impact report, and other key brand pieces for donor and funder stewardship
• Develop and implement effective major donor strategies in consultation with the Director, organise QCC partnership events and manage the organisation’s philanthropy pipeline over the financial year
• Coordinate QCC’s regular giving program and twice-yearly appeals cycle, working with campaigners and external suppliers
• Monitor, analyse and report on QCC partnerships, making recommendations for process improvement and policy updates

Selection criteria

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Marketing or Fundraising or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/ training
• At least 3 years’ experience in partnerships, grant management or fundraising, with a proven track record for achieving results
• Demonstrated success in donor and grantee stewardship strategies
• Excellent writing skills and experience in writing for appeals, digital communications, social media and websites
• Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible approach when working in a team
• A passion for protecting the environment
