Meet your State Member of Parliament

We now have a new Liberal National Party (LNP) State Government. No matter the government, we need them to act on climate change and protect nature. The LNP party scored low on nature and climate policies in our environment scorecard prior to the election. So right now, as they plan the next steps, we need to make sure they hear from us and know that nature and climate are key issues their constituents care about.  

Meeting with your state Member of Parliament (MP) is an important way to ensure nature and climate is on the agenda of your MP and the State Government, and to keep them accountable for any commitments made while pushing for further action. One constituent who approaches their MP is considered roughly representative (i.e. speaking behalf) of 100 constituents, so your action matters!
