Suggested Wording

Your will is a very important legal document and needs professional attention. Seek the expert advice of a solicitor or trustee company when making or updating your will and be satisfied your affairs are in order. The costs involved are minimal.

If you do not have a solicitor, contact the Public Trustee, which can assist with making a will at no cost.

There are two ways that you can include QCC in your will; you can make a will if you do not already have one, or you can make an attachment to your will called a codicil.

A codicil is the easiest way to make a bequest if you already have a will and the codicil does not change major parts of the will. If you choose to rewrite your will at a later stage, the bequest can then be fully incorporated into the will. We suggest that you see your solicitor before deciding which of these options will suit you.
