Join others from your community on Saturday 12 October from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm for the final Greater Brisbane Forum of 2019!
This final forum is not to be missed as QCC will share our proposal for Greater Brisbane Environment Advocacy Network (Greater BEAN) initiatives we plan to get funding for in 2020. Your input to these initiatives will help shape the vision for how QCC will support the Greater BEAN to become a strong network!
As a result of our work together on the Greater Brisbane Project over the past 10 months, QCC has decided to get behind supporting the development of a network as we believe this could be the most effective way to move forward together.
The only way we can make the Greater BEAN strong enough to tackle the big issues facing the wildlife and places we love is to bring people like you together more often to share experience, skills and ideas so that we can collaborate on how we deliver strategic and coordinated actions that will win change.
“Unless we are a diverse group, the huge diversity of issues we are facing won’t be solved,” (anonymous forum participant, 2019).
If you haven’t yet added your voice, come along to the final forum - you'll be glad you did! We'll share how our conversations with fellow environmentalists so far have shaped our proposal for future coordinated advocacy through establishing a strong network, and we’ll engage your input on the core initiatives we think are important to build the network's foundation.
Be sure to register today so you don’t miss it!
