Do you want to protect Queensland’s natural wonders? Are you ready to use your fundraising skills to fight climate change? This new position will support QCC’s campaigns to protect the state’s stunning environment by growing our base of loyal donors and supporters. You will be part of a smart, dynamic and experienced team who are dedicated to their work and the organisation.

About you
Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who deeply understands the importance of long-term relationships in building a sustainable financial base for the organisation, and cares strongly about  our environment. You will be part of a small, dynamic and experienced team who are dedicated to their work and the organisation. The right candidate will have at least three-years experience in not-for-profit fundraising, and a relevant tertiary qualification. 

Key responsibilities will include

  • Shape and implement the organisation’s overall fundraising strategy.

  • Produce engaging fundraising appeals, social media, web-pages and other fundraising content for all  channels.

  • Implement new donor acquisition campaigns using digital and social media channels.

  • Establish systems for tailored and timely donor communications; onboarding new supporters; and retaining donors and supporters for the long term. 

  • Provide overall management of QCC’s Nationbuilder database and website.

  • Coordinate QCC’s schedule of communication activities (fundraising, communications and social media) to ensure an integrated approach to fundraising and advocacy objectives.
