2020 Natural Wonders Photography Awards - Winners
Queensland Conservation Council has again held the Queensland’s Natural Wonders Photography Awards, which recognises and celebrates the power of images - and the importance of photographers - in protecting our natural world.
Photography has long been an essential tool for protecting our natural environment. Images of environmental devastation arouse public anger, while photos of adorable or amazing native creatures inspire us to protect their habitat.
We were looking for outstanding images that showcase Queensland’s natural environment; our unique plants and wildlife; and the connection between the people of Queensland and our beautiful state. And did we receive them.
With the entries closed and the people's choice vote finalised, the judges had a tough decision to make. And after much deliberation they have selected the below images as this years' Queensland's Natural Wonders Photography Award winners.
