Volunteer Open Meeting

Keen to get stuck in to help the environment?

Open meetings are a chance for us to catch up as a group, discuss what we have achieved and find out what will be happening in the coming weeks.

You will meet like-minded others, learn about the campaigns and have a chance to get involved in making a difference.

Right now our leaders are holding us back - clinging to old dirty energy like coal when we should be leading the transition to 100% clean, renewable energy. We want to change this. That's why we have just kicked off a new campaign called 'Sun-Powered Queensland' - we want the Queensland government to legislate ambitious action on renewable energy. But if we are going to be successful, we need people to get involved and help make it happen.

Everyone is welcome. If you have not been to a QCC event before this is a great first one to come to. We would love you to be a part of it!

We will have some snacks, the bathrooms and venue is accessible by wheelchair. Also there will be a sign on the door to tell you where to go when you get here.

Anyone is welcome to come to an open meeting so if there are people who might be interested in getting involved feel free to bring them along.
